HORN KYLE HOYT

Kyle Hoyt is an active freelance horn player in NYC metropolitan area and recent addition to the Chamber Orchestra of New York.

As soloist, he has appeared with the Jerusalem and Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestras. In recital, Kyle was featured at the Jerusalem Music Center and live radio broadcast on Kol Ha Musika, Israel's premier classical music station.

As a chamber musician Kyle has appeared on the Israeli concert series of Ein Kerem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, and in Eilat. He is also affiliated with Israel's premier new music ensemble, The Israel Contemporary Players. Kyle can now be heard frequently playing with the American Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, New Haven Symphony, and the Harrisburg Symphony. On Broadway Kyle performs in shows "The Lion King" "West Side Story" and "Mary Poppins." He recently completed three seasons as Associate Principal and Third horn of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and has held positions with the Columbus and Syracuse Symphony Orchestras.

Kyle studied at the University of Michigan and Manhattan School of Music. His principal teachers were Bryan Kennedy, Soren Hermansson, Erik Ralske, and Jeffrey Lang. Kyle resides with his wife Shoshana in Brooklyn NY.
